Blekinge is a province located in south of Sweden and borders theBaltic Sea. The Blekinge Institute of Technology offers approximately40 study programmes with approximately 470 independent courses. Thereare around 7.100 students enrolled. The Blekinge Institute ofTechnology has its campuses in Karlskrona, Karlshamn and Ronneby,whereas the department of Software Engineering is located in Ronneby.Ronneby has around 28.000 inhabitants and offers apart of its goodeducation, also a beautiful scenery. 2005 the park “Brunnsparken” wasvoted as Sweden’s most beautiful park.
